This year has been challenging for everyone and all of us could do with feeling better. That’s why this October, Look Good Feel Better brings to you ‘Feel Better Month’ – four weeks dedicated to doing good and feeling good whilst raising funds and awareness for Look Good Feel Better.

Throughout October we’ll be bringing to you a calendar of exciting virtual events which will help you to look good and feel better. There’s something for everyone including an array of incredible ‘Ask the Expert’ Masterclasses hosted by some of the world’s leading make-up artists and beauty experts. By purchasing tickets to our virtual events, you’ll be making a direct and important donation to the charity.

You could also consider holding your own fundraising event or activity and below you can request a dedicated Fundraising Pack to help you with your planning. We provide lots of handy advice on planning safe and successful fundraising which follows government guidelines.

Helping others is proven to have a positive effect on your own mental health and wellbeing so by taking part you’ll not only be helping yourself to feel good but also help us provide our vital support to many more people living with cancer.

How your money helps

Covid-19 has had a devastating impact on the charity’s income, reserves and resources. This Feel Better Month is more important than ever and the funds raised throughout October will ensure our services will be there for those living with cancer now and in the future. Cancer doesn’t stop and neither do we. The funds you raised during Feel Better Month will…..

  • Help us restart our face-to-face workshops across the UK when safe to do so and within government guidelines
  • Help us launch additional services which address the physical and emotional issues faced by those undergoing cancer treatment
  • Help us provide advanced training for our volunteers so they can deliver our workshops within the new guidelines and with confidence
  • Help ensure our services are reaching and supporting many more people living with cancer
