Women's Running Magazine have proudly announced Look Good Feel Better as their regional charity partner for their Women’s Running Race Series this summer.
The Race Series will take place in Cardiff (20th May), Nottingham (8th July) and Milton Keynes (15th July) and supporters can choose to run their race in aid of LGFB and join in our mission to help more women face cancer with confidence.
The races are fun, friendly and supportive and cater to runners of all abilities, whether you’re a first timer, club runner or chasing a new personal best. Choose from a 5k or 10k distance.
Even better, Look Good Feel Better have 30 free places in each race to offer supporters who pledge to raise a minimum of £150. To get you race ready and ensure you hit your target, all runners will be sent a branded running vest, training advice, and dedicated fundraising pack.
All finishers will also receive a cracking medal and an array of free goodies including a luxury beauty bag.
Our LGFB fundraising team will be there on the day hosting a charity hot-spot for our runners and will be cheering you on as you make your way around the course.
Also joining us at the Milton Keynes race will be running enthusiast, mum of two and LGFB Beneficiary, Sarah Logan.
“I’m proud to be representing a charity which focuses on making people feel better at a time when your self-esteem and confidence can be at its lowest. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and attended a Look Good Feel Better Workshop which was a real confidence booster at a time when I had no hair, eyebrows or eyelashes. I still think of my workshop every time I put my blusher on!
I turned to running as a way of staying physically and mentally strong during my treatment and for me it was another way to feel good and stay positive whilst fighting cancer. I’m so thrilled that Women’s Running recognise the importance of what Look Good Feel Better do and I can’t wait to come together with hundreds of other women to run and show our support for such an amazing cause.”

Your support is vital to enabling us to reach many more people, like Sarah, in desperate need of a confidence boost at a time when diagnosis and treatment has taken over their lives.
If you’re not able to make any of the race locations, don’t worry, we’ve also teamed up with Women’s Running to create the Feel Better Week Virtual Race
Sign up for £15, select your distance and then run your race anywhere and at any time – on the treadmill or in your local park it’s up to you. You’ll receive a commemorative medal once you’ve completed your race.
