We were delighted to be attending this year’s Knitting & Stitching shows, the first which took place at Alexandra Palace between 12th - 15th October and also Harrogate from 23rd - 26th November. At the London show, it was great to meet so many people who had either benefitted from our services, knew someone that had been along to an LGFB Workshop or were keen to help support our work.
As part of the shows we teamed up with sewing guru, Wendy Gardiner, to create a special make-up bag and brush roll pattern that can be used to help raise money for Look Good Feel Better.
For those of you that met us at the show, hopefully you managed to grab your dedicated fundraising pack which included both of the patterns and instructions. For anyone that didn’t attend or if you would like another, you can download it from here or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like us to post you a copy.
The idea is that you use the patterns to create some lovely make-up bags and/or brush rolls which can then be sold at craft fairs, boot sales, events or to friends, family and colleagues. Money that you make can then be donated to Look Good Feel Better, helping us to support many more women and teenagers living with cancer.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the Knitting & Stitching Show in Harrogate from 23rd – 26th November. You can buy tickets to attend from their official website.
