Held in November at the prestigious Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, the COPRA Ball (Cosmetic & Perfumery Retailers Association) is one of the key Industry events of the year when everyone gets together - retail, brands and media. For LGFB, it's a very important date as it helps to raise essential funds. Suzie Abel, the Chairman of COPRA and Buyer from Jarrolds in Norwich, announced in her welcome speech that to date the organisation was proud to have donated substantial funds to LGFB. At the 2009 Ball over £30,000 was raised through ticket sales, from the Ball Programme which is produced by Esprit magazine, a donation from Look magazine and generous raffle ticket sales and auction bids. LGFB is incredibly grateful to Suzie, Camilla Pascucci (Event Co-ordinator), the COPRA Board and all guests for this much-needed and valuable support.
