#WARPAINT4LIFE SHORTLISTED FOR THIRD SECTOR AWARD

We are delighted that the brilliant #Warpaint4Life advertising campaign has been shortlisted for Marketing Campaign of the Year at this years’ Third Sector Awards.

Last year we were fortunate enough to be offered advertising space on large digital 96 sheet sites in and around London, despite the great offer, we were in a dilemma as we didn’t have a suitable advert or any budget to create a new one!  After many discussions, an industry advertising expert offered her help and pulled together a young team all working within the advertising industry who were willing to donate their time and expertise to help LGFB create a stunning campaign.

They named themselves, ‘7after6’ and worked alongside LGFB to create #Warpaint4Life, a campaign that stands out from other charities and makes female cancer patients feel empowered.  The photoshoot was also completed entirely pro-bono with international photographer, Josh Van Gelder and celebrity make-up artist Caroline Barnes donating their time alongside other industry experts.

To date the campaign has received over £1.2 million of donated advertising space – a huge thank you to everyone involved in creating the campaign and of course, to all of the magazines, newspapers and digital agencies that have donated space.  We have everything crossed for the awards night that takes place on Thursday 24th September – watch this space!
